newbie needing information

It sure is a great place for information and support.
Different Drs have different ideas about how much you should weigh/BMI should be. Some are of the opinion that even if you are a lower BMI, & have co-morbidities WLS is beneficial providing your have been overweight for some time & can show you can lose weight (just cant keep it off).
I had a BMI of 35 when I was banded..am being sleeved in 5 weeks. My daughter's BMI is 33 but she has quite a few co-morbidities. We've a few Drs & none have had a problem with doing the surgery.

I am new and I joined because I love the idea of such valuable information you can gain from a forum! I really like hearing peoples experiences and opinions that will hopefully help me make the most informed decision I can!
I am 22yr old female from Sydney with a heigh of 169 and weight of 98.
I will hopefully be using the forum for lots of questions and your opinions in the future.
I am currently researching whether I am allowed to undergo gastric sleeve surgery and in the long, slow process of getting an appointment with Dr Jorgensen. I have posted a question in the pre-op page and hope for your replies :-)
