PostSubject: BP   Almost at Goal EmptyTue 26 Jan 2010, 11:15 pm

Hi Alex,

I get light-headed when I'm on low-calorie regimes and I stand up too fast, but I've always had low-normal blood pressure, so the dizzy fit might not have to do with your bp, but rather with the fact that you're dieting hard. Also, even my low bp goes way up under general anaesthetic. Best see your doctor before you stop your meds, I suspect.

Best,

Dark

Thank you for sharing, Max. Your Dr did a great job on the boobs. There probably is someone here in Townsville, but is seems that it would be worth the trip to go to see your Dr. Anyway, when you reach goal, please dont leave us. We are all so inspired by your journey.

I am on the count down with 5 weeks to go, today. Starting my optifast on Monday, although I have been on optislim for the past two weeks (it tastes so much better). According to my scales I have lost 5kgs but scales are all different. I take olmetec (spelling) for blood pressure and I have noticed that I have been getting light headed when I get up. Never used to happen, and I think that I might not need the meds anymore. I take the lowest dose, but I am too scared to stop this close to the sleeve, just in case my BP goes up during the op. Anyone else had this problem?

Alex

Hi Again,

Darkstar, Photos of boobies in Gallery.
Lib, boob reduction was about the same as sleeve before refunds etc. As with sleeve about $5000 out of pocket. But Oh so worth it, same as sleeve is so worth it.
Alex, tummy tuck, same as above, about $5000 out of pocket. I expect it will be oh so worth it.

Hi Max,

You are brilliant! I am inspired. I am not yet sleeved but strongly suspect that a tummy tuck will be in order this time next year (hoping, anyway). I'm wondering about the costing. Would you mind sharing, please?

Cheers to everyone on Australia Day.

Hi Max,

I'm a newbie and you don't know me, but I'm inspired by your success. Well done! Roll on the day for me.

Now don't take this the wrong way. I would like to sneak peek at your boobs, but I don't know how to find them... I'm curious about boob jobs, because last time I lost weight I was bereft when my boobs deserted me.

Do you feel comfortable sharing?

Hey all,

Thanks for your lovely replies, support, understanding and sharing my excitement.
It is possible for everyone.
YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR MIND TO!!

5 kilos to go, and I can't wait to get there, but have got a bit lazy about it, so I know why the last 10kilos are the hardest to lose. Must keep focused to cross the finish line and then take it a little bit easy.
Had 2 Krispy Creme doughnuts yesterday, very bad, but oh so yum after any months of not having such treats. Difference now to 12 montyhs ago, I had 2 not 10 and not rushing to buy any more in a hurry.

Hope you are all having a nice Australia Day

Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to share my excitement that I am now just 5 kgs away from goal. Man it feels so good to be skinny. I am now 60kgs, have had a boob job and feel on top of the world for the rest of my life. Have a Tummy tuck booked for March 29 to remove excess skin and last remaining evidence of being fat, (a tummy). Gotta Go!!!!!

For all you new sleevers out there, do not lose sight of your goal and you will get there.
I also worried the sleeve may not work, if it wasn't going to work for someone it would be me.
But I have done it and you will too. I now dont diet anymore just choose better food to fuel my body. I do still snack at night, my downfall, but I also walk everyday or at least every second day 4ks.
The last few weeks have been a relization for me and my family that I'm skinny. Myhuband says its like hugging a different girl her can wrap his arms all the way around me now. My kids are proud to have a young looking mum and I keep looking at clothes are are too big and am a bit lost when trying to find new clothes as I am just not used to buying size 10's. I bought an Australian Day shirt from Big W the other day Yep, Size 10. I used to buy a size 24. I usuallty walk around and then oh I don;t know and walk out buying nothing, all too overwhelming to learn to now dress for my new size.
I have updated my boob photo in the gallery if anyone is interested.

Anyway just wanted to share my excitment, joy and appreciation for my Tiny Tummy that I love ever so much.
Good Luck to everyone else on your journey.

Max
