As I didn't want anyone at work to know I took 3 weeks annual leave and then decided to have another week off so used sick leave for that.

Sick Leave Empty
PostSubject: Re: Sick Leave   Sick Leave EmptyWed 02 Dec 2009, 10:38 am

I had to use 8 days annual leave and 2 days unpaid for my sleeve in Feb as I was in negative sick by 6 days from my emergency band removal last September. Have only just started accruing sick again now this August.

Cheers
Gail

PostSubject: Re: Sick Leave   Sick Leave EmptyWed 02 Dec 2009, 7:12 am

I am taking 1 weeks sick leave, then I am on holidays for 5 weeks.
It was a coincidence, how it happened and actually its going to work out great, giving me 6 weeks off work, so get my eating back to near normal.

The sick leave will hardly put a dent in my sick leave, ours accumulates.

I am discussing sick leave with my boss now for the sleeve.... as everyone is asking me, are you taking sick leave instead of holidays for it...... will let you know what they think!

For all you out there who are on wages can you please clarify something for me? Can you, would you or have you used up your sick leave to have the surgery?
