| the male of the species has breakas just because he prefers the taste over upngoes. The son is so anti breakfast but will have an upngo so it works well in this house. Just these are a lot thiner to get down than optifast. The diet drinks are designed to try and fill you up hence how thick they are. Personally I hate them all they just gross to me hehehehe so might be worth buying a few and taste testing before surgery :)

| I found that the Campbells Tomato soup (and other canned soups) are very high in sodium, less filling, and even worse on nutritional values; even their "Low Sodium" variety. Also, it was primarily carbs and very little protein. Don't know about the Heinz, but suspect it would be similar. I was told by the support teams that homemade soups, made from scratch, are the best; so I'm checking various recipes. I did find a reasonable substitute for tomato soup. Try heating up the low-sodium V8 juice. It still has the same distinct tomato flavor (at least for me) and if a little (very little!) garlic powder and/or onion powder is added, gives it a nice "spice kick." Here's the comparison (note the serving sizes /vs./ nutritional value): | Low Sodium V8 Juice | Campbell's Low Sodium Tomato Soup | Serving Size | 8 oz (1 cup or 224.0 g) | 4 oz (1/2 cup or 124.0 g) | Calories | 50 | 91 | Sodium | 140mg | 529mg | Total Carbohydrates | 10.0g | 20.0g | Dietary Fiber | 2.0g | 1.0g | Sugars | 8.0g | 12.0g | Protein | 2.0g | 2.0g | Vitamin A* | 40% | 10% | Vitamin C* | 120% | 10% | Calcium* | 2% | 0% | Iron* | 2% | 2% |
* = %'age based on a 2,000 calorie diet (2x mine, though ;) ). Hope this helps. | |

| Hi Hayley would Tony F and Opti be included in the liquid stage or the mushie stage? Stupid question but they aren't on the list. I am also surprised to see custard and weight watchers mousse in the liquid phrase?
