Oh Nic Pink was awesome wasnt it and My night didnt stop there, I then went on to The Court hotel till about 2am then to Connections then on to the Casino and then at about 5am I sat out under the patio and we all watched the sun come up. Then one by one everyone but me started dropping off to sleep while I found my second wind my oldest boy fell asleep in his chair so I gave him a drag queen make over with marking pen, he saw the fun side of it and im sure he,ll be waiting for pay back tomorrow night when I have my party at their place lol

Happy birthday jodi....the big 40 hey...i will be joining you in october...lol

Thankyou Lisab I couldnt help but smile at your post lol its a nice feeling to be told that I have inspired someone with my own success and Im glad your husband has been able to have his mind changed I had this same problem with my mum we just couldnt bring the subject up without arguing and it wasnt until I showed her the gallery of wonderful sleevers and their success that helped her to understand how wonderfully successful this is. This support group is very much to me like the movie Pay it Forward, without everyone here it would have been a longer harder road and now im here its nice to know that others can see that wether they are at the start or at maintanance there is only good that can come from the sleeve, at times it wont be easy but its very very much well worth everything to get here. x Jodi

My husband was against me having the sleeve as the band was such a disaster, so I showed him your photo gallery and he said if I am half as successful and look half as hot as you do it is worth doing it !!!
You are HOT girl and a great advertisement for the sleeve!

Thankyou CG its a great idea even though at the time the things you write down will seem just so out of reach. But with a positive attitude youll see your goals fly by and once you have that positive attitude then commitment and determination seem so much easier to have.
I was hopeless all my life id get all determined in my mindset and id fail fail fail but with this tool it makes an amazing differance and even though I still needed to put the effort in it didnt seem half as hard to stay focused as it did before I had my sleeve x Jodi

Hi everyone on the 12th of January this year I was wheeled into theatre with my head spinning with a gazzillion things but mostly I was wondering just if or how my life after I have my sleeve done would change.
So while whiling away the hours before it was my turn on the list I jotted down my wish list on the back of my admission form and this is how it read.
1. Come out of surgery with a successfully completed gastric sleeve. DONE
2. Eat right, excersice and heal properly. DONE
3. Make sure that my grand daughter arrives healthy and happy. DONE
4. finsh my diploma. DONE
5.Set that bloody wedding date. DONE
6. AND in 7 months time when I turn 40 I want to be 62kgs and I want to be fabulously thinner and toned and wonderfully happy with myself inside and out, I want to be in a stunning size 8/10 evening dress thats sleak and stylishly sexy with gorgeous killer heels and new hair and I want to walk into dinner with my head held hi and loving myself...As of today the 12th August exactly 7 months later im 62kgs and tomorrow im 40 years old. DONE DONE DONE
