ps..... I paid for most of my op by applying to APRA for the approval of early release of some super funds......not sure if that is applicable to you & your hubbys situation....( you can apply to use your partners super )...but there are threads on here - under 'paying for surgery' & then under 'APRA news tomorrow' if you feel it might apply to you.

I just logged onto the centrelink website to see if I got a debt this financial year from child support and it seems I wayyyyyyy under estimated mine & hubbys incomes that they owed me. Now I have over half of the money I need for my op and the excess for the hospital. I'm soooo excited it has taken alot of stress off of us trying to save the $5500 for nearly everything. Now it really feels like it's all happening More than half way there 65317
