| Hi Healthime,
Hang in there through the opti phase, it's not nice, but it is worth it! Not long until your sleeve now!

| Hi!
Freezing in melbs today! Send some heat please 🌞
I don't love opti 😝 But my trick of ice and a straw makes it palatable. Thinking of it as medicine and it not suppose to be nice!
I've lost kgs, so it is definitely working!
Did my hospital admission on line last night and will pay Dr Harry this weekend. .... Then just opti and waiting waiting waiting 😊

| Hi Lizz,
I am sweltering it out in Brisbane. I say this because I have been increasing my walking program and fairly overdid things this morning -- combination of trying to go faster, go longer and keep the heart rate up for longer with VLCD and humidity, end result, took me ages to recover from a 40min walk.
How are you travelling through this stage?

| Mid way thru the VLCD stage and preparing for surgery on 29 Feb 2016 -- a bit uncanny that its a leap year and surgery anniversaries will only be every four years.
Am very excited about having the gastric sleeve done for long term health, but a little wary of the post operative phases.
This forum seems like a terrific place to visit, and I find the readings of other brave sleevers very reassuring. | |
