Breast size and weightloss Empty
PostSubject: Re: Breast size and weightloss   Breast size and weightloss EmptySat 12 Mar 2016, 11:47 pm

3 weeks post op and have already gone down two cup sizes (16G --> 16E)... In some ways this is good as it is much easier to find 16E bra's (secretly hoping to get to 16D as there are way way way more of those around!). It is also a little disheartening as I was only just starting to get used to having big boobs (I'm 36 - these things take time!) thanks to a partner who actually appreciates them!!

When I previously lost weight I got down to a 12DD. The most annoying thing with having big boobs is having to buy tops and dresses a size larger to accommodate the girls!!

I was told that for every size around you drop you should go up a cup size. Like if you go smaller cause it's cute and you use an extender so if the cup size hasn't gone up you're doing well. Not sure how true that is but I take it as I've actually gone up from a DD to an E during my year.

Boobs may not have gotten smaller but they definitely lost their firmness haha I'm only 22 and ive got very saggy boobs O=

Have you a "Jim Kidds" in your state?
"Daneechi" are good, but $$$$$s.
Happy shopping!

Gretchen,

Try big girls don't cry, or bras to go (same shop). If you're in the Brisbane area, go there for a fitting, the ladies are great and they have really good range, under a H cup there is a great selection. They also do decent swim wear.

Wow, mama29, that's a lot of weight to carry on your chest ! 2 of my friends, who are both quite small, but big busted relative to their body size, have recently had breast reductions, and they are both so happy with the results. The first had hers done about 10 weeks ago and is just loving being smaller, the other friend only had it done on Tuesday, and I spent Wednesday afternoon with her, saw her again today, and she's already loving it. Well done on the weight loss, you must feel amazing!

Well, it's been one year and one day since surgery. I am 43 kg lighter (yay!), and have gone from a 20/22 k-kk cup (yes really!) to a 10-11 j-jj. So I've lost weight off the boobs, but only in proportion to the rest of my weight loss as I've only gone down one cup size!  Definitely think I'll be lining up for a boob lift / reduction in a couple of years when everything has settled into place. I guess it's a little different for everyone, so I wouldn't worry too much about comparing where the weight loss is most apparent for you vs others.

Hi Ladies

Thanks so much for your replies it is good to hear everyone else's experiences. Since my last post I am down another 4kg and I finally think I may be loosing a little weight from my breasts-yay!

They were starting to look quite disproportionate but more importantly are super uncomfortable when so big!!

Like some of you girls, time to start saving for when the weight loss is over I think!

I haven't had the sleeve yet but I have already had a breast reduction. Was originally a 16/18 EE or F (We honestly stopped measuring and just prayed I could fit them into something). Ended up going down to a size D with them taking off about 1 kilo between the two, have put on weight since then and am now sitting at about a DD so will be interesting if I get the sleeve done to see if I lose weight around there. I've been told that the boobs area is the easiest to put on the weight but the hardest area to shift.

I have the loose skin too, Ive lost around 30cms around the bust, the funny thing is, Ive not really come down a cup size. Rather than a 26F-G Im now in a 18F to G depending on the shape of the bra. Ive lost the back boobs lol

Not so perky as they were, the lovelies need some lifting and tucking into place now ;)

I've lost heaps, loose skin that i can pinch on top.
Ive lost about 20 cm but ive lost 20 cm around my chest as well, so even though the are shrinking im still a d just in a smaller size.

Heck yeah!
A gradual decline.

Feb 2nd this year pre-op I was at 42% body fat, now around the 18% mark.
Gone from a 14E (yes my cup was overflowing lol!) - and I am only a short-arse, to around a 10-12C/D depending on style.

Had large saggies before, now got small ones, but actually a better shape now.
One Powerball and I'd have them uplifted (not made larger).
But had been talking about having a breast reduction for years, so have achieved that lol!

Haven't been sleeved yet, but I always lose my boobs when I lose 20kg or so. I've already warned hubby, "these are going", much to his dismay !!! I'm not very big to start with - I'm currently probably a good C, will go down to a small B I suspect - I don't really care, as I'm very broad in the back, so big breasts would judt make me look top heavy, as I'm very small in the hips (currently hidden by fat) ! I think it possibly depends on how you carry & lose weight (?) I tend to carry it all over, so I guess I don't fully notice till I'm towards the end of my weight loss. Maybe after another 10kg you might really notice a difference ? Do you want to shrink in breast size ?? Great job with the weight loss !!! :-)

Hi Ladies,

I am 16kg down with about another 15-20kgs to go.

So far I have not lost any weight of my breasts? This has surprised me given I have lost weight everywhere else (including feet!). My cup size is DD.

I was just wondering what other people's experiences have been....did you loose weight from your breasts? Did it happen throughout your weight loss journey or at the start/end?

Thanks so much, I appreciate your experiences!
