You can use non-dairy protein sources like Whey Protein Isolate (I use unflavoured Gladiator WPI from Supplement Mart) or fruity protein drinks like Cyborg (available from Cost Price Supplements on Facebook and other places online) if you want something flavoured.

Hi There

I am ruby girl from Brisbane, 46 yrs old and having my sleeve operation 9/9/15. At this stage still very scared, haven't got the excited feeling yet.

I have not been able to do the Optifast shakes as I have a dairy allergy. I have had to cut out carbs & sugar instead (started 31/8/15).

I am very concerned how I will get the required protein in without being able to have the shakes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
