| Ohh thank you!that eggface one is good! Might think about it. As would love to do one with like demo videos etc. menu plans etc. as Ive had to spend soo much time researching and trying to get a somewhat balanced food plan for the day after a month or so of picking this & that, and really being somewhat lost I suppose.
I am sure many others would love to find something that's sleeve sized portions etc. then too if you were never a cook before etc.

| I just had a quick look at Eggface, I love the look of it Nini, and she does seem a real foodie, although of course it is american, she doesn't seem to use loads of USA packaged foods. Thanks heaps for this.
I didn't realise there was a gastric sleeve recipe site on Pinterest Sally, thanks for that

| I love The World According to Eggface's Blog. She is a real foodie and I love her various egg bite recipes. Though it is an American site I still find it really useful.

| Hi bringingbackme
Congrats on your 50kg loss, that is fantastic. Re your idea of a site with it all on I think it would be very useful. I am not sure whether there is anything already like that, but I know I am at a loss re actually making meals so just eat bits and pieces at the moment, or some weight watcher frozen meals although there are not many I actually like.
I am sure others will be able to contribute

| Hi All,
Are there any good sites that have practical information/demonstrations of post surgery eating ideas. Especially that's Australian?
It's been something that's bothered me, in terms of finding good information on food, that's targeted to people who have undergone WLS, so sizes of servings & so forth are our "normal". Talking around what they eat in their day, with recipes and even videos showing how to cook. All in 1 place.
I love to cook, and create - so wondering is there a need for something like this. At 6mths post op, and 50kg down, with 30kg to go, I'd love a site that was food/lifestyle focus, that's targeted to WLS.
Just not sure if one already exists? And if it doesn't, is it something people would want/find useful? I am sure that many of us, have needed to re-learn what to eat, how to cook it. For many if cooking/meal planning isn't something you have done pre-sleeve, it's very daunting to start with a tum that's so small and doesn't always tolerate a lot of things.
Just a thought? | |
