Thanks for your message.  Yes not long to go, been pretty busy so that is taking my mind off the surgery a bit and helping to make the time go quicker. Like most others I am excited but also a bit nervous about what is to come, but I have found this forum so helpful and feel I am as well informed as I can be.
I see you are from beautiful Tasmania - I was born in Tassie and lived there for the first 24 years of my life, so I am still partly a Tasmanian at heart even though Queensland is now my lovely home.
Doing ok with Opti (day 10) not really feeling hungry but have had bad headaches most days and finding my focus is not that great...had a few grumpy moments with the kids which I feel bad about later but my tolerance is a little low.  Anyway only a few more days and then the real "fun" starts.

I've got my date...5th December, 2014 at St Andrew's Private, Ipswich.
I am feeling excited and a bit nervous, but am loving this site with all it's helpful info (thanks everyone!).
I am so sick of the "Diet Cycle"...losing it, putting it back on, REPEAT! and am looking forward to losing this weight and then conquering maintenance...something I have never managed to do (thus why I am here!).
Any tips/advice would be hugely appreciated.
