| Like a PP I also went with Dr Jon Armstrong at Hollywood and he came very highly recommended to me. There is not a single thing I could fault before, during or after.
One of the people that recommended him went band to sleeve with him too and she praises him highly as well.

| Hi I'm a week out from surgery and Dr Cohen did my surgery. Very efficient, staff are super friendly, it was the Australia day weekend that I had my surgery and Dr Cohen operated on the Friday came in and saw me on the Saturday morning, told staff he was going to Garden Island but if there were any problems to call him and he'd come straight back. No hesitation in recommending him or his support staff. Ask plenty of questions, make a list of what you want to know. He will ask you for questions, I had plenty and he answered all of mine truthfully and efficiently. He gave me a couple of weeks to think it over, come up with any more questions etc and then when I had made my decision to go ahead he booked all the appropriate sessions with his dietician and exercise physiologist etc. Had an ECG and bloods done, everything went smoothly. The nursing staff were fantastic and I went to SJOG Mt Lawley previously known as Mercy Hospital. Upon my discharge after a few days he dietician phoned and asked how I was going, made suggestions for any queries I had and my follow up appointment is Monday at 10:30. I really can't recommend them highly enough, my experience has been great. I know he will be away for the whole of April so bookings will probably be for May etc. Ring his staff they are really lovely. One of the ladies can seem a bit abrupt but she isn't really like that at all it is just her phone manner - she is a lovely lady :) Hope this helps Jules | |

| There are several great surgeons in Perth and my favourite is Dr Leon Cohen at Mercy Bariatrics. He LISTENS to you instead of telling you what you should do. He likes to keep data on his patients, compare results internationally and I feel always up to date with the latest procedures.
I have previously used Dr Dolan and found him to be very rude. Dr Jeff Hamdorff laughed in my face when I told him my goal weight of 55kg saying I will never get there and was sarcastic the entire time.

| I am making a booking to have my band taken out next week and considering a sleeve done by another surgeon. Any recommendation for surgeons in Perth. I have a lot of reflux problems so need someone fairly experience to answer my questions and do the surgery. | |
