| Hi Vix Dr Baxter was my surgeon late last year and I have been delighted with the operation and his care since. Any further question please ask - happy to answer any thing that is worrying you. Cheers Tazzy03 - Vix wrote:

I had to wait as it wasn't definate that he would operate on me because of my age. To date, no one else here is being done on the Sunshine Coast. Hope all goes well with what you decide. Will be looking out for your posts. Jelly, I am looking at September which is when my health fund kicks in. I have made the choice to go ahead - in fact I made that choice a while ago but wanted to explore all the options and of course had to wait for HF also. I will be looking out for your posts too ... I feel so much calmer having this site to read and relate with, you must too. Wishing you a perfect sleeve and excellent recovery.

- Hi Vix.
I am having my sleeve done by Dr Ian Baxter on 6th May [3weeks time] He is lovely & very thorough. You have to see all of his 'team' the dietician, psychologist & physio, as well as having all the bloods, barium swallow etc. He has not had any problems with his sleeves, probably because he staples as well as stitching the stomach, plus he tapes it as well. If you would like to know more pm me your phone number & I'll be happy to ring you. Cheers, J. Thanks Jelly, wow 6th May, you lucky thing. You must be very excited. I was just looking for validation and you have given a good recommendation. All the very best to you. Cheers, Vix.
