| Hi Jagxclusive, Thanks for the information and encouragement... it sounds like you have received many benefits from your surgery in the short time since you had it - weight loss is only one part of the benefits from the surgery (and one that everyone tends focuses on!) the fact that you are having improvements to your health is such a short time is something to celebrate.. something I am hoping will happen too.. Congrats.. | |

| Welcome to this wonderful support group babymamma! I suggest you pop into the sleevers monthy for february and say hello there, you will be at the same stage as the others going through the same feelings as you. You are right to feel scared and nervous, it is a risk and changes your life, but the risks with not doing the sleeve for me personally and I'm sure most of us here were a lot worse. I have not done great with my weight loss really, but within 4 weeks out from surgery my blood pressure and sugars are all within normal range now. That in itself has added a lot to my life. All the best in your journey, look forward to hearing how you go. | |

| Hi there, I have been checking out this site for a while but finally decided to join... Started 4 wks of Optifast today with surgery on 13/2/14.. Im having a lot of mixed feelings about my up coming surgery date.. excited, happy to finally be doing something effective to shift my weight as it's affecting my health... but also feeling a bit nervous and scared about the surgery.. How are other newbies feeling? | |
