| Suzy, so great to hear it's been 2 days of no fevers! I hope this is the recovery you've been hoping for! Rest seems like the best option for us all! Take care and happy new year | |

| Well two days with no fevers so hopefully that's the end of it. Test showed no infection...think I'm paranoid after what happenned in October. Mel, I'm on nexium, have been since day one and I struggle with it if I miss ore than a days dose but these episodes seem unusual. Might be something to do with my new botox'd valve....hmm who knows.
Thanks for all the messages on here and Pms everyone, much appreciated Xxx

| Hey Suzy, happy new year gorgeous!! Will send you a sms later :-)
Let me know any results you get for your reflux as mine has been shocking too. On pantoprozel but some days are just not worth it.
Keep your chin up babe - you know you are strong with a lot of family friends that love you xoxo

| Having a few ups and downs at the moment with shocking reflux despite my nexium and some worrying fevers. Have spoken with my surgeon and will get some blood work done tomorrow. Hoping it's all clear and I can stop worrying!
Hope, you are all well?! I'm so saddened there are a few people having a rough time at the moment. It isn't fair. I just hope their saga is solved quickly and doesn't continue as long as mine has....

| Thanks everyone. Hope you all had a nice Xmas with your families and ate something yummy? I'm fighting terrible fevers at the mo. Had on and off all week. Surgeon suggested hospital Xmas eve but I refused. I started to feel much better Boxing Day but the fevers have knocked me off my feet today. Back with a vengeance. Hoping it goes away soon as I really can't face another admission!

| Hi Suzy, I just wanted to check in and see how you're feeling after your last surgery? I too have noticed quite a few newly sleeved people are having some issues and it's very distressing to hear. I wish all the new sleevers a speedy and healthy recovery and too you too Suzy! You are clearly helping so many others, it's just wonderful to be a spectator and see how much you are helping. All the best | |

| A huge thank you to the lovely Jules for keeping you all kindly updated. I'm happy to be home but cursing the world for the pain I'm in! No signs of any issues with the tube this time so far tho I'm completely paranoid and worry about every twinge. This tube is much better than the one I had may to August. That thing gave me so much griefs! Hoping this one is easier to live with!
Hope you are all well and having a lovely weekend and it isn't too manic just before xmas! Xxx

| Just heard again Suzy is still in pain but it is getting less she is having some problems with recovery but nothing major. Her prospects for coming home before xmas are good. The surgeon did a great job and she should be much better off very soon so keep those good vibes going. She is already planing another trip down my way so thats a fabulous sign of her positive thoughts. Got to love her she is such a trooper she must be fully Aussie now she has that ANZAC Spirit. Yes Brunie Suzy had to have open surgery for another feeding tube in the bowel but this will mean more food and growing strength to enable recovery. | |
