The amount is a guideline as in up to. early days 1/2 a cup is like a 3 course meal for our new tummy. Don't force any more than you are comfortable.

Everyone is different and you're only three weeks out :) Might be worth calling your surgeon re: the quantity of food required. He/she might be a little more relaxed about volume. I know that it took me quite a while to work up to that kind of quantity. Even today I have carefully measured all of my meals to be 1/2 a cup and really it's all I can eat comfortably and I am over 8 months out :)
Would love to hear what the Doc and others have to say about this :)

Im on week 3 puree stage, I can only manage 1-2 tablespoons before the pain in my stomach starts. My dietitian wants me to eat 1/2cup of puree and to me its impossible.
and I can only have about 800mls of water/liquid a day.

Has anyone else had this problem? / is this normal?
