| Hi Annie Congratulations on reaching goal....you must be so proud of yourself and rightly too. Glad to hear you are feeling a little better ...the nausea is very difficult to cope with I find.
I was sleeved in December and except for a couple of days I have continued to have debilitaing nausea. I have just returned from my six stint in hospital for dilatations and stents and gall bladder removal.....not the norm for most people just unluckly enough to be in the minute percentage that has problems. That doesn't mean that you will follow down the same road though ...from what I've read it is not uncommon to have nausea for around four months. So it should be coming to an end for you. My stent will have disolved over the next 10 weeks and then I too should be nausea free....hooray. (My story is under "What about when things don't go as expected')
Take care | |

| Oh Annie, I am glad you are feeling better today. Way to go on reaching goal!! Congratulations!!
As for the gall bladder, my symptoms were pain in my shoulder at the back, can't remember which side? | |

| In answer to your questions Greg - Yes, I've had occasional nausea but not as bad as this. 2 dilations on advice of surgeon because of narrowing. Not really had any reflux problems but I take Nexium 20 twice a day. Urine is fine. No gall bladder problems - but then I'm not sure what the symptoms for that would be! I'm actually feeling fairly good this morning, so maybe it was just a passing thing, but will contact my surgeon if it persists. And yes! I'm having great weight loss - in fact achieved my goal just this week (surgery was 10 December). Thanks for your support. | |

| Annie,
Have you had much nausea since the op? or is this the first time? I know you said you have had 2 dilations, it that because of reflux? Are you taking anti reflux or anti nausea meds? How is the colour of your urine? you are not having gall bladder problems are you?
I know, a lot of questions, but you have to ask questions to find out the cause..Keep going back to the GP or surgeon.
On a lighter note, you must be having good weightloss
Cya, Best of luck

| Sorry Annie, no advice from me but I do sympathise. You are not coming down with something and mistaking it for a sleeve symptom are you? As they say in the Panadol ads, "Please see your doctor if pain persists". | |

| Has anyone else had this problem? I appear to have sailed though most problems, have had two dilations since operation. Now feeling totally washed out - nausea for 3 days. any advice? | |
