| Im going with Dr Dolan on 26 February 2014, I have to say he seems very good, but my first appointment with him he was a bit rushed and blunt but he was hell busy. I have my op scheduled in 5 weeks and getting mixed feelings of nervousness and excitement. I have a friend who used Dolan also and she loved him. I am going into Hollywood Hospital for my surgery. Really good to read the great reviews on Hollywood on here.. feel a lot better now. | |

| HI MAXI2mini!!
Hollywood Private were sensational. They have a ward that specialises in bariatric surgery (I think it was Carroll). Post op I was on their general surgery ward and the nurses were lovely and felt I was treated very well but when they transferred me I really noticed the difference in the knowledge of the nursing staff regarding sleeve post op care.
Hope you are well Maxi!!

| Hi MAXI2mini,
I used Dr Watson at SJOG Murdoch. Couldn't have been happier with how everything went and he makes you feel really comfortable and like you are making the right decision. 100% recommend him.
I would probably try and go to Hollywood Hospital though as I didn't really like SJOG Murdoch and he operates at both so would recommend that. I have only heard good things about Hollywood.
If you wanted to see a couple of surgeons I have heard that Dr Jon Armstrong is also amazing as my cousin was sleeved by him a couple of days ago.
Good luck with your decision, it will be the best thing you will ever do for yourself and your family x

| I am seeing dr Watson. He has been extremely approachable. The op is set for 02sep13. I am having it at St. John of gods Murdoch. He was recommended by my GP. Dr Dolan was recommended to me by a friend. She raved about him. I stayed with dr Watson as I was already in consultation and he is good. Even tho he is the other side of town for me. I will know more after next week | |

| Hi MAXI2mini
I was sleeved by Dr Watson on 20/6. He has a nice manner and encourages questions.
The anaesthetist he uses is very good as well - the first time I have not vomited coming out of a GA in 3 times.
I also recommend Hollywood Private Hospital - the staff there were very nice.
Good Luck with your decision.

| Hi Maxi2mini I think it is personal to choose a surgeon. I will be sleeved by Dr Dolan on 2/7/13. I don't know Dr Watson. You could make an appointment to go see both and then make up your mind as to who you like better. I am with HBF and the sleeve with Dr Dolan cost $3000.00 Good luck. B | |
