| Hi,thats great you are following your surgeons requests,many get so tempted to go off the path as it can be hard at times. Well mashes potato made a bit sloppier with gravy is very nice too and you can add a dash of parmesan cheese to give it a bit more zip.These stages really do test the imagination. | |

| Thanks guys.
Wasn't planning on going against Surgeon/Dietitian advice. Hence why I was asking for ideas and recipes for purees :)

| Hey,
I found the recipe thread great for ideas and I have been told that casseroles cooked in slow cookers ect are good to pureee with veggies.

| Hi, sloppy scrambled eggs season to your taste,sloppy weetbix and porridge and the low fat soups that come in the tubs that you can micro are very good but give them a whizz in the blender first,yoghurts and can add your protein powder or your own whizzed fruits etc. Dont try to eat solids until you have gone through the stages you have been told by your surgeon,they are given for your safety in mind and you dont want return trips to the hospital with problems. | |
