| Thanks, I am now 13 weeks and have had bad m/s for the last seven so the weight loss is going great again! I spoke to my surgeon and he is beside himself happy as I am apparently the first pregnant sleever he has had - he's done heaps of sleeves but mostly caters to the older and male demographic by the sound of it.
I found an OB and have my first appointment with him this week. I also have the letter from my surgeon for him and he has offered to "co-care" if he is interested. It all seems rather excessive but he was so enthusiastic I couldn't say no, so I'll see what the ob says. He wants me to see him every couple of months and visit the dietitian more regularly which seems like a great idea, but apparently they will just look at upping my intake by eating more regularly.
I have found that between the m/s and the hormones it feels like my sleeve has reset and I can only fit in the small amounts I could 3-6 months after surgery. I am sure once everything lets up I'll be back to normal, but it has been weird to say the least.
So ladies if you have a weight loss stall maybe consider getting knocked up!
Pierced congratulations to you too! I hope everything is moving along smoothly.

| Im 26 weeks pregnant at the moment and its been an interesting ride!
No problems with the sleeve- just been able to eat so much more food. But I am over 2 years out so that probably is playing a part too.

| Okay I have been in complete denial the last few weeks but apparently I am pregnant. I am now at the stage (well, actually long past) where I am suppose to be choosing an OB as I am planning on going private considering my patchy fertility history and the sleeve. I do have a specialist gynae who is looking after me until I make a decision so I am well covered there, he just no longer delivers babies.
Has anyone had a baby in Melbourne and used an OB who has some clue about the sleeve or should I go and see my surgeon and continue to seperate out the sleeve and the pregnancy?
As you may be able to tell by this post I am in a bit of a flap - my first and only child is nearly seven and we thought she would be it. Thank you (at the moment with all day morning sickness I curse you) sleeve!
