I have a Thermomix and it is great for this. I love being able to whip up a soup hands free, I just pop on the timer and come back to hot soup after 20 minutes.

hi, just letting everyone know that Cuisinart have a Hot and Cold blender that allows you too cook soups, hot drinks, puree/blend hot food as well as all the cold stuff. There are recipes for starters, dips, sauces. mains, desserts. just looking through cook book now. I brought it on special online for $199 ($100 off). I also brought it so I can be lazy and just cook in it lol

cheers
