| Well I am over two weeks post op now and still have the diarrhea every day. I contacted my surgeon and got told its quite normal. Got told its probably better to put up with this than to be constipated. | |

| Hi nepratini
Chris's advice is probably the best place to start..and then I endorse her suggestion that you follow up with the doctor sooner rather than later if changing the diet doesn't help.
Hope you feel better soon.

| Hi Nepratini
I had a similar problem post-sleeve, although not quite so soon. Mine was a temporary lactose intolerance, and since I was having lots of milk-based products early on, I just had to change what I was eating (well, mostly drinking at that stage). Might be worth keeping a food diary and seeing if it's something you're having that's affecting you.
Good luck, but don't hesitate to go to the doc - you really don't want to dehydrate. | |

| I was sleeved on 13 June and since 14 June I have had diarrhea every day. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. It doesn't just happen once a day, sometimes its up to around 6 times a day. When I was in hospital I got told its nothing to worry about but its just not stopping. | |
